As a Marketing Manager for Commercial Strategic Accounts, you will identify and implement the most innovative and effective strategies for reaching strategic accounts. Working with our Strategic Account Vice Presidents out in the field and other leadership, you will help develop strategy for our million-dollar accounts outside of the US. With your deep account understanding and analytical skills, you will develop compelling custom marketing and sales material, using sales reports and product information to contribute to strategy. Working closely with support staff and the graphics team, you will create compelling custom support materials such as sales reports, presentations tear sheets, and microsites – whatever materials that will best serve our accounts. This Marketing Manager will help grow our market share outside of the US through translating strategic account strategy into best-in-the-industry marketing materials. The role works from our commercial marketing campus in Cartersville, GA.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with Sales Leaders and Strategic Account VPs in the field to gather project requirements.
- Investigate and communicate the most innovative and effective strategic account marketing strategies.
- Manage communications and protocol to create dynamic collaboration and eventual agreement.
- Work with all levels of the organization to achieve objectives and ensure coordination, including the Legal, Pricing, and Brand divisions.
- Create engaging and compelling communications for our largest accounts including content, visuals and materials.
- Build and empower staff: Lead, coach, mentor and develop staff.
- Establish a culture of respect, collaboration and accountability.
- Define processes to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information.
- Organize and share information and strategies across the team.
- Work with others to create a strategic vision for the department.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, business or related degree.
- Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or project management role.
- Demonstrated track record of effective, organized, and thoughtful team leadership.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be flexible, able to shift priorities and work non-standard hours.
- Must be able to translate technical information into clear communications for a general audience.
- Advanced communications, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
