We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabrication Sales Coordinator to join The Hole Team. We are looking for an associate to be team oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, be able to work in a team environment and provide vision, support, accountability and guidance to all team members. The ability to build rapport with potential and existing customers is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate target accounts to increase fabrication sales for those customers.
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
Providing assistance to general sales as the subject matter expert for fabrication.
Work closely with operations to produce accurate work orders to increase inefficiencies and reduce potential errors.
Work closely with our internal supply team, vendors, and outside processors to coordinate and work through fabrication projects.
Make accurate, rapid, cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations.
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
Management of fabrication projects from start to completion.
Identifying new markets and business opportunities.
Meeting or exceeding sales and key metric goals.
Identify and investigate customer requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
Partner with outside sales managers to help drives sales and improved customer service.
Proactive out bound calling to sales leads in order to develop customer base.
Act as primary interface with customer during the engineering phase of the project.
Work with Operations Manager to develop project schedule and forecasts for fabrication schedule.
Coordinates necessary drawing requirements with customer.
Ability to read construction structural and architectural drawings for the purpose of estimating and pricing of McNichols products.
Review and correct shop drawings by detailers.
Provides guidance on order specifications, indicating pertinent and unusual requirements to sales and supply to assist them in preparing quotations and drawings.
Other duties as directed by the District Manager or Sales Manager
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Technical knowledge and ability to understand load tables and other product capabilities.
Strong sales experience in a relevant environment (e.g. Manufacturing, B2B environment etc.)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong team player and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to prioritize and multi task
High levels of professionalism with strong attention to detail
Ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative in a sales environment
A highly driven and enthusiastic sales professional
A proven record of negotiating and securing new business.
College graduate in business or technical preferred but not essential
Intermediate math skills
Proficient in Microsoft office with the ability to type 40 WPM
