The Delivery Merchandiser (DM) is a key member of the Full Line Vending team responsible for performing specific sales activities of assigned route - This includes but is not limited to sales, merchandising of products, rotation, sanitation, cleanliness and overall appearance of machines, vending area, and vehicle. Assist in any area of premise/full line vending as needed.

Essential Functions Statement(s)


Obtain account sales orders FLV


Stock and merchandise all product


Ensure all products are properly rotated.


Increase product sales within current accounts.


Perform specific activities of the assigned route-this includes but is not limited to the selling of new products and promotions made available for the account.


Assist management in the selling of price increases and opportunities to the vending account decision makers.


Assist management in the selling of incremental vending placements in the existing full line accounts.


Monitor and recommend revenue opportunities through product and package mix.


Directly responsible for the communication of problems with route scheduling, account needs, maintenance, and safety issues, with appropriate management.


Maintain and develop customer relationships.


Assist management in the execution of all supplier promotions and incentives. Emphasis placed on increasing overall departmental sales and profits.


Assist management within all areas of security to assure protection of company assets.


Be knowledgeable in all Department Metrics and AIM Selling Functions.


Responsible for sanitization, cleanliness, and the overall appearance of account/machines, stockroom and vehicle.


Responsible for the collection of monies and basic repair of vending equipment.


Adhere to customer policies for vendors or suppliers, which may include but is not limited to business conduct policies, business ethics policies, legal policies, and delivery and merchandising policies.


Responsible for continuous self improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to ej4 and/or facilitated training.
