New start-up Bio-Polymers Chemical Company located in Columbus, GA is searching for a strong Sales / Business Development Representative. This position will report to the general manager. Must have 3-5 years experience working in sales in the food industry.

This bio-polymers, pharmaceutical/food product chemical company is located in Columbus, GA, but the successful candidate will be traveling primarily in the US and possibly abroad. This company is a quickly-growing leadership development company specializing in speciality chemicals.improving the emotional intelligence of leaders of Fortune 500 companies and other large organizations worldwide, achieving triple-digit growth in the last 12 months. We are looking for a hardworking individual to take this company to new levels of growth. If you have experience working with Dextran Gelatin products this is a plus

The Business development Representative is a key roleā€”the level of performance in this role is the key determining factor for future sales growth. We are looking for a high-horsepower individual who thrives on interaction with our potential external clients and has a deep-rooted habit of picking up the phone and getting a professional relationship started.

Besides having a high-energy level, the Business Development Rep should possess:

  • Moderate technical skills in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High business acumen required to hold conversations with executive-level contacts.
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Knowledgeable of the food industry
  • FDA and GMP (good manufacturing practicies)
  • HACCP certified
