National Account Sales Coordinator

• Elk Grove Village, IllinoisThe Sales Coordinator is The Sales Coordinator must be able to establish a good rapport with the other Bunzl locations, trouble-shoot potential problems, rectify existing concerns, and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Process, review, and monitor various sales reports for National Accounts
- Create memos and letters to effectively communicate critical information to the branches and customers
- Prepare and analyze monthly Sales Analysis Reports
- Maintain order guides and master product files for selected customers
- Communicate any price changes to the branches and maintain price files for selected customers
- Utilize the AS400 System to download and acquire essential customer specific information
- Work and correspond with manufactures as the need arises
- Consistently evaluate work and determine if further steps are needed to meet customer expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures
- Will require periodic attendance at outside meetings at customer locations
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years sales assistant experience or related customer service experience preferred
- Must be proficient in Windows (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook etc.); AS400 knowledge preferable
- Ability to be flexible in order to perform duties including re-prioritizing work as necessary
- Demonstrate sound judgement by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must posses strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent ability to problem solve and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Must be self motivated and able to follow direction and ability to work independently or as a team
