Expectations


Retain established customer relationships, expand and create new customers and regions. Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Director to develop personal marketing plan. Must be interactive with internal teams. Analyze the market and sales numbers (personal and team). Travel 40-50 percent of time.

Responsibility


  • Environmental Safety Security and Health (ESSH)

Participate in incident investigations

  • Responsibilities

2.1

Managing sales in assigned customers/markets-North America

2.2

Identifying and developing new customers & distributors in the aforesaid territories

2.3

Work closely with production team for communicating customer expectations and building capability in delivery the same

2.4

Align the sales (customer, market, application etc.) with production capability

2.5

Identifying new applications & product development opportunities – to serve as feed for new product development

2.6

Preparing Sales plans, MIS and other routine reports for the sales region assigned

2.7

Coordination with SCM for production & dispatch plans

2.8

Profiling of customers (Customer Size, Application, Product Requirements, People in the organization)

2.9

Prepare forecast, develop appropriate strategy to attain Sales Target

2.10

Analysis for Comparison of budget versus actual - Variance Analysis

2.11

Interpret & analyze industry data

Preparation of Sales and Marketing MIS, analyze and propose improvement initiatives

2.12

Assist SM Director in formulating SM policy for the assigned market

2.13

New customer acquisition, its maintenance and growth

2.14

Developing robust processes for managing business transaction with customers

2.15

Scan the Industry related environment and suggest possible marketing initiatives for improved business performance

2.16

All other duties as assigned

Competencies


Technical Expertise

  • Experienced in industrial sales & marketing
  • Background in selling polymeric or industrial products
  • Able to understand, create & manage distribution networks
  • Systematic & analytical in approach – should have very good understanding of numbers

Ideal Incumbent profile


Educational

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business Management, or MBA is preferred


Experience

10-15 Years of industry experience is preferred
