About The Job

AG Adjustments is looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM). If you have a background as a BDM for a SaaS based software that required you to cold call leads to qualify them and then set up a meeting / web-based demo for an VP of Sales or Account Manager, we want to talk to you.

AG Adjustments is one of the nation’s leading business to business collection agencies and we are growing our BDM team in our South Charlotte office. In this role you will be using our documented consultative sales process, using tools like Salesforce.com, Outreach, CoVideo, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn to connect with the Credit & Collection Managers of leading B2B wholesalers, manufacturers, distributors and service providers across the USA.

We are looking for "type A" individuals who thrives in an inside BDM environment and are enthusiastic, coach-able, professional, ethical and competitive. To be successful in this position you must love the phone, be great at handling discovery calls and have no problem handling objections and rejection. You will aggressively hunt for new business opportunities on behalf of our sales team

Success in this role can lead to a VP of Sales position.

What will the role look like?

As an BDM at AGA you will engage with companies in the $30 - $500+ million revenue range soliciting them for our B2B collection services.

  • Prospect 125+ companies per day using Salesforce.com, Outreach and CoVideo.
  • Perform cold calls (50-70+ per day) and discovery calls to setup online webinar demonstrations
  • Be part of a casual but high energy work environment in downtown Matthews, NC.

Do You Have?

  • 2-4 years of inside BDM sales experience – outbound calling and lead generation?
  • Track record of success in your previous inside sales role?
  • Energetic outgoing personality with a positive can-do attitude?
  • Strong prospecting and cold calling skills?
  • Ability to overcome objections?
  • Are you tech-savvy with solid computer skills and knowledge of CRM's like Salesforce.com?
