Collins Aerospace a leading global supplier of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Support Specialist to join our team at the Alabama Service Center.

Successful candidate will be responsible for account administration and consistent compliance to policies, procedures and controls during the customer contract lifecycle assuring business and customer expectations are met.

Primary Responsibilities

Serve as liaison for the organization in matters of customer agreements and compliance issues.
Ensure documents adhere to internal and external standards and requirements and recommend creative solutions to management.
Review and adjust as necessary various documents such as : Services agreements; lease & exchange agreements; Non-Disclosure agreements; supply chain/procurement contracts
Draft program letters and whitepapers summarizing key contractual positions
Proposal and negotiation preparation to include, maintenance and review of contract terms and conditions, financials and contract templates
Support contract negotiations, contract administration and customer contracting activities.
Supporting internal and external sales and supply chain/procurement teams with respect to customer communications
Teamwork with other stakeholders (technical services, business development, supply chain, legal, Collins)
Champion compliance with all UTC policies and regulatory procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and International Trade Compliance requirements

Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in business with 1 year of relevant experience or in lieu of a degree 3 years of relevant experience
Strong business acumen in regards to contracts and finance
Experience in contract / subcontract terms
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
Strong skills in MS Office EXCEL & WORD

Preferred Skills:
Contracts Management experience particularly in Aerospace
Knowledge of aircraft nacelle products
