Auto Sales Consultant - Chevrolet Cadillac Job Opening

Cooper Auto Group is one of Oklahoma’s most recognizable dealerships serving the Oklahoma City, Edmond, Midwest City, and Shawnee areas.

We are currently seeking Sales Consultants at our new state of art dealership at Joe Cooper Chevrolet Cadillac of Shawnee. We are looking for sales-focused applicants who are self-motivated and have outstanding communication, customer service skills with a strong work ethic.

• Spends time with customers to determine their needs and discuss vehicle options that fit their needs
• Test drives vehicles to demonstrate industry leading features
• Supports online customers by validating inventory and setting appointments
• Completes quotes and explains financing options
• Follows up with prospective customers and existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate leads
• Performs consultative vehicle delivery with customers when vehicle is sold
• Supports and achieves the Sales Department goals
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proven performance in automotive sales desired (avg sales of 15 or more per month)
• Experience working with customers and providing exceptional customer service
• Sales experience a plus, including inside sales, outside sales, or retail sales
• Steady work history and the commitment to starting a new career
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Outgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships
• Must be able to pass pre-employments screens (Background, MVR, and Drug)
