NJ- Operating Room Registered Nurse - OR RN Job Opening

New Contracts are now available for an Operating Room Registered Nurse near Elizabeth, NJ. This is a great travel assignment is only a 30 minute train ride to NYC. Eligible candidates for this position must have at least 2 years of recent Level I or Level II OR experience.

Duties include: preparing and monitoring the patient before and during the procedure, assisting and anticipating the needs of the surgeon, performing inventory of surgical instruments, collaborating with the OR team, maintaining an organized and sterile work environment, and utilizing electronic charting (EPIC).

Requirements:

• 2 or more years of recent Operating Room experience


• Active BLS/ACLS


• Experience with Robotics, Ortho, General, Neuro, GYN


• Strong communication skills


• EPIC charting experience

Assignment Details:

• 13 weeks - 36 hours per week


• Nights - Will do 8 or 10 hour shifts


• On Call is Optional


• Weekly pay
