Reports To:

The Process Cooling Water Specialist will report to the Sales Manager for Direction, Guidance, and Support.

Qualifications:

  • Education level. Preferably an Associate Degree with a background in engineering.
  • 2 Years process cooling water / pump experience.
  • Specific skills. Ability to work with and identify new extraction OEM level customers and other process cooling water opportunities.
  • Ability to diagnose issues customers are having within their systems and offer solutions based on available solutions and previous experience.
  • Personal characteristics. Business casual.
  • Driver's License Mandatory.

Job Overview

Blackhawk Equipment is looking for a seasoned process cooling water specialist who has at least 2 years of experience selling process cooling water packages to a large and growing customer base both within and outside the state of Colorado. The selected candidate would be responsible for consulting, recommending, selling, supporting, trouble shooting and diagnosing simple problems with focus Primarily on Refrigerated Chillers and Pump Skids for the OEM Cannabis Extraction Market, but also Evaporative Cooling Towers and Dry Cooling Systems for typical Industrial customers. This candidate would interface internally with the Sales Manager and Sales Team, the extraction sales coordinator, the Fabrication Manager, the Service Manager and Parts Manager to coordinate efforts through the appropriate personnel as the situation dictates. Successful candidate will work with both existing and new customers in both Colorado and adjoining states where cannabis extraction is now legal, conveying the Blackhawk Equipment Value add to all levels of customers within this market.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Call on existing and new OEM Level extraction customers (Companies who built extraction equipment) with an emphasis on selling chillers and other ancillary equipment by adding value to the products they are currently selling._
  • Responsible for customer interface, vendor interface including application and engineering, sales and light trouble shooting with the ability to diagnose simple, common and end user issues over the phone and convey the obvious remedy. __
  • Always seeking additional opportunities within the industry. __
  • Selling, sizing, recommending Evaporative Cooling Towers, Dry Cooling Systems, and refrigerated chillers for growing list of Industrial "Street Customers". _
