SUMMARY

Drives truck throughout established route to deliver products to customers by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Clocks-in at the beginning of shift and clock-out at end of shift everyday.
• Reports to work on time and in a clean uniform.
• Collects the post-trip inspection report created by the last driver of tractor being used for deliveries and carries it vehicle during operation, as required by DOT.
• Delivers product to assigned accounts using moveable pallets with wheels.
• Verifies product load-out prior to leaving plant, then drives to deliver product to customer's place of business and obtains customer signature on receipt acknowledging pickup or delivery.
• Places product in the appropriate place at the account, picks up empty containers or beer tagged by sales representative as rotation; and issues sales promotion materials to customers, as needed.
• Fills coolers, warm shelves, displays; and rotates back stock.
• Ensures mule maintains a full charge for deliveries.
• Upon returning to the plant verifies load-in, organizes paperwork from deliveries and places them in safe.
• Leaves key account representative an audix of any problems occurring during delivery or out-of-stock conditions in each store.
• Checks drawer daily for invoices, memos or other pertinent company information.
• Conducts a post-trip inspection and inputs mileage into computer, prints an inspection report and leaves it in the corresponding mail slot of the tractor for the next operator.
• Keeps inside of truck clean and complies with notifications for routine maintenance of tractor being used.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to compute discount and percentages.

REASONING ABILITY

• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must maintain a Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL).
