La Crosse Beverage in Onalaska, WI is now hiring a Customer Service Representative. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for coordinating the daily internal business functions of the company. As an entry level position, this individual will be generating basic information and assisting sales staff with simple daily tasks. A key role will be communicating the company s administrative information. Excellent customer service skills is a must as this position will require communicating with external and internal persons.
Responsibilities:
- Take customer calls, route calls, act as primary or backup receptionist
- Take basic repetitive orders
- Locate and generate pre-configured reports and statements
- Print statements and orders
- Apply and remove approved credit holds
- Follow up on skipped invoices, over payments, short payments, NSF Checks. Locate and send copies of documented transaction; Perform initial transactional posting of NSF to customer account, alert the proper team members.
- Perform data entry of information into external web application
- Code basic approved reimbursement requests in a timely fashion
- Process electronic payment transactions (ACH, EDI, FinTech.) Follow step by step instructions to process these transactions in eoStar
- Process customer payments, applying payments to invoices - A/R. Enter payment to customer's account and apply to invoice indicated on remittance (or with matched amount)
- Prepare documents and information for daily transfer to satellite warehouse, sort by warehouse/employee; Load items in transfer bag
- Run and print preconfigured reports
- Perform data entry from approved reviewed customer information forms
- Maintain stock of frequently used supplies and forms; order from provided approved list
- Maintain systems, process, review and reconcile SRS transactions to VIP, electronic transfer sales reports and information. Follow step by step instructions to process these transactions in eoStar.
- Process credit card transactions and follow step by step instructions to process these transactions in EoStar.
- Complete & submit forms to municipalities for customers on approved "license hold" list. Submit release forms when payment is received
- Monitor spending orders based on chain pricing information
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; Associates or Bachelor s degree in related field preferred
- Customer service experience required
- Experience within the beverage industry preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and as a part of a team
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Knowledge of office equipment, printers, scanners, copiers, fax
- Basic keyboarding and data entry skills
