Machine Sales Accountant Job Opening

Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Machine Sales Accountant. The Machine Sales Accountant places inventory equipment and attachment orders, tracking the order process through receipt and making transactional adjustments to individual assets. They will also process invoices that affect these assets, ultimately selling them out of inventory and concluding the current life of each asset.

Responsibilities:

• Performs the role of Accountant and Invoicer in the billing database.
• Performs the role of Accountant and Invoicer outside of the above database as adjustments are processed.
• Reconciles or notes and reports discrepancies found in records using system queries.
• Submits orders and order changes for attachments and machines.
• Completes machine ordering, reviewing orders already established by sales coordinator or manager.
• Maintains order data for viewing by internal customers.
• Receives orders into inventory.
• Monitors and acts upon EMS reports to drive sales and leases to correct sales representative.
• Performs transactional reporting of machine sales when submitting claims for merchandising support to Caterpillar.
• Maintains a positive attitude and works as a team player.
• Complies with company policies and procedures for accounting and money management.
• Makes any necessary changes to invoices involving credits, adjustments, and supplemental billings.
• Invoices billings from sales coordinators in an accurate and timely manner.
• Processes SCORE transmissions to be sent to Caterpillar.
• Maintains machine literature supplies for sales department.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) preferred
• 2+ years related experience (claims, invoicing, etc)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required; proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications preferred
• Experience with inventory and/or billing system preferred
