Job Description:

Fukai Toyotetsu Indiana Corporation is a new stamping and welding manufacturer located in Jamestown, Indiana. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the production process through ensuring products meet the standards set by clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in maintaining quality assurance objectives of the company.
  • Assist in quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.
  • Analyze data to evaluate the current process and process changes.
  • Assist in the decision of accepting a product and/or continuing business with a vendor based on data collected.
  • Assist in review of data obtained during quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
  • Notify the manager of significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, two (2) + years of applicable experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Proficient personal computer and system software skills.
  • Technical knowledge in product design functions, and manufacturing inspection processes.
