Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitor the timekeeping system daily and throughout each payroll period.
- Enter and verify paper timesheets in the timekeeping system.
- Enter payroll documents in the payroll system.
- Assist supervisors with timecard entry, corrections and approvals.
- Correct errors as needed.
- Send out Payroll Monday reminder per pay schedule.
- Make sure all leave requests have been approved for the payroll period prior to final payroll approval.
- Provide assistance with leave usage entry; balance leave usage on a per pay basis reporting any discrepancies to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Prepare timekeeping system for final review and sign off.
- Perform payroll audit after each pay to ensure accuracy.
- Record payroll payments on authorization documents.
- Assist with payroll document organization and filing of completed payroll documents.
- Assist with various reports.
- Input employee schedules in timekeeping system.
- Provide backup to Payroll Representative.
- Enroll new employee's time clock biometrics.
- Prepare and update training materials, provide training to employees and supervisors, provide assistance to employees and supervisors with the timekeeping system and time clock procedures.
- Monitor time clocks to insure operational; clean time clocks/scan pads regularly for all buildings.
- Serve as additional support to the applicant tracking system.
- Prepare Birthday Cards for CHRO Signature and mailing.
- Provide assistance to the Chief Human Resources Officer and with other human resources/payroll functions.
- Organize and maintain I-9 files.
- Perform regular clerical duties such as copying, scanning, shredding, mass mailings, small group mailings, assembling packets, and maintaining files (paper and electronic) in an organized manner.
- Assist with reports and data collection.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements: Education
Associate's Degree in Business or related field, required
