Business Development Representative

Catch 21 is currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for current client management, new business development, brand building strategies and identification of potential market segments. He or she will also be responsible for revenue generation through new account development and key account management.

This person will join a staff of professionals that have over 100 years of combined experience implementing and managing check processing and associated technology. We work with local organizations, in addition to partnering with many institutions across the nation. The professionals at Catch21 have proven experience in assisting institutions with virtualizing their technology infrastructure, conversions and mergers, going live on image exchange networks, and in providing complete outsourced solutions managed by the Catch21 service bureau. Catch21 not only offers service bureau solutions but we provide consulting services to institutions struggling with their in-house item processing systems where we can provide training and other assistance to help them be successful.

The primary focus of Catch21's outsourced services is to help our clients eliminate the paper associated with back room processes through Check 21 compliant solutions by truncating paper at the closest point to creation with the smallest technology footprint possible, while bringing proven experienced solutions to each client through meticulous attention to detail in every step of the process.

The requirements for our position are as follows:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Extensive cold calling (over the phone and in person) with Executive level clients to develop new business relationships (75% of day is spent on the phone)
  • Assist with formulating marketing strategies and implementing them
  • Develop and present relevant business proposals
  • Track market intelligence in the industry with respect to market development, projects, competitive activity, customers etc.
  • Maintain relations with key clients
  • Preparation of sales reports to ensure daily, weekly, quarterly and annual activity/revenue goals are measured and achieved

Skills and Specifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, networking skills and presentation skills
  • Proficient technically with Microsoft suite

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Marketing emphasis preferred, but will consider other designations.
  • 1+ years of proven sales or customer service experience within a competitive environment.
