Commerical Estimator/Inside Sales Representative

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing customer quotes and material take-offs based on insulation requirements from building measurements, and/or plans and drawings.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure proper applications and products are quoted for each job; ensuring pricing is accurate and within company guidelines.
  • Responds thoroughly and promptly to all inquiries; interprets and explains service policies and procedures
  • Speak knowledgeably with customers regarding insulation options and other "add sale" products
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers'' problems
  • Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken
  • Provide administrative/estimating support to the inside and outside sales teams
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time and keep commitments for return calls and follow-up
  • Responsible for specialized duties as delegated by management with limited supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must be customer focused; possess strong time management skills, problem solving ability, strong follow-through skills, and excellent phone and e-mail etiquette

Required Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), some college preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years related experience
  • Building industry knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
