A Territory Sales Representative for Bobcat Central Inc, Bobcat of Reno, a distributor of Bobcat Compact Equipment and Doosan Heavy Equipment. The Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales of new and used Bobcat, Doosan products, attachments, and the promotion of the overall business strategies of the company to new and existing customers in the Northern Central Valley. This position will also be responsible for the rental or leasing of all new and used equipment and supporting products. This individual will need to be motivated and committed to meeting customer’s needs, growing market share, maintaining established levels of gross profit and exceeding unit sales targets.

  • Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.

  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.

  • Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize to meet deadlines under pressure

  • Strong selling, prospecting, cold calling and presentation skills required to successfully achieve sales quotas and targets.

  • Maintains sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory and weekly call reports.

  • Manage market awareness and providing calls and lost sales reports.

  • Manage designated territory and customers to maximize our presence on equipment purchases.

  • Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment.

  • Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.

  • Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management.

  • Maintains current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.

  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.

  • Uses any and all sales related software programs.

  • Maintains a professional appearance at all times.

  • Maintains and updates customer prospect list for territories on an ongoing basis.

  • Completes all required documentation in a timely manner.

  • Creates and maintains an annual marketing plan to maximize market share in responsible territories.

  • Perform any and all other requests deemed necessary that will promote and grow the business for Bobcat Central Inc.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years construction equipment experience preferred

  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Excellent customer relationship skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports

  • Professional appearance
