• For more than 25 years, Oakie the Oakhurst Acorn has been a favorite of children and their families across Maine and New Hampshire, bringing smiles and fun to parades, fairs, festivals and schools.
• Oakie's mission is to educate kids about important issues such as healthy eating, staying active and being good stewards of our environment - bringing to life the qualities of The Natural Goodness of Maine.
• Not interested in being a mascot? No problem, Oakie’s other job duties include, escort and merchandiser. The products are already at the supermarket, we just need you to restock the refrigerated shelves with Oakhurst products, rotate the dairy products and maintain a clean, positive appearance of all our displays and offerings.
• Our typical merchandiser is far from typical. We have college students, high school seniors, Moms who need part-time work, retirees who want to stay active - anyone can fit the bill.
• Participate in quarterly training, plus our Marketing Representative will stay in contact with you on a regular basis, mostly by phone.

We are looking for people who love working with kids, are customer oriented and have a positive, friendly demeanor and are reliable, energetic and physically active.
