The Business Development Manager is the primary outside sales individual responsible for client acquisition, management and satisfaction. In this role, the BDM will obtain, develop, and secure business opportunities in new client relationships. Success in this role is heavily dependent on revenue and profit production resulting from these opportunities. It is expected that the BDM always represent the company, brand, and offerings in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Kelser managed services, products, and partnerships
  • Develop new customers through prospecting and relationship building
  • Meet and exceed quarterly target goals
  • Ability to manage and close a pipeline
  • Track and manage contacts and opportunities within CRM
  • Leverage vendors and partners to develop business
  • Present at customer meetings, seminars, trainings, and webinars as required
  • Attend trainings and complete certification programs as required
  • Other reasonable duties assigned by management

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling to mid-market commercial accounts
  • Proven hunter and closer
  • Experience in selling in an “as-a-Service” environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Kelser products and services (some certifications required, training provided)
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities
