Position Overview:

Blue Peak Tents, Inc. is a highly successful premium tent and rental provider for astute individual and corporate clients within Chicagoland, Northern Illinois, and the upper Midwest. We are currently seeking highly-motivated individuals to join our account management team. You will be responsible for developing long-standing customer relationships, maintaining current customer relationships, lead generation, and overseeing sales.

As a Sales account manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner, creatively negotiate and close prospects, and aspire to deliver a positive overall customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.

Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Develop positive relationships with clients
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Report on the status of accounts, leads and transactions
  • Set and track sales account target, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. weekly/monthly forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Calling on and visiting potential clients to create new business accounts

  • High level writing skills, grammar, and sentence structure
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on-time
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to delivery excellent customer experiences
  • Ability to solve simple mental math problems quickly and accurately

Stand-out candidates will have one or more of the following:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager, Closer, or Sales Account Executive
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Quickbooks, or CRM software
  • An extensive understanding of sales performance metrics
  • BS Degree in Business, Mathematics, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Considerable understanding and knowledge of regional geography

Compensation Package:

Base Salary, pus commission/bonus
