Summary:
Provides a range of consultation services to leaders on the development and implementation of key strategies and training for creating and sustaining a high-performing organization. Works collaboratively at organization and division levels to ensure business planning, performance monitoring, and learning processes inform and support each other.
Detailed responsibilities:
  • Develops, coordinates, implements, delivers and evaluates training programs that support organization objectives and are aligned with the organization's business plan.
  • Acquires/Develops and facilitates a variety of professional and personal development programs/courses. Coordinates administration, completion of prerequisites, delivery, and post-evaluation activities.
  • Provides coaching, facilitation, team development and organization development services in consultation with leaders and senior management to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with the organization's strategic plans.
  • Develops and implements manager and staff development programs.
  • Conducts organization/group needs analyses, compiles and prepares reports with recommendations for timely, relevant, and cost-effective training and development solutions, ensuring instructional quality and appropriate content of materials.
  • Serves as an internal consultant to address departmental/unit needs for work redesign teams, organizational transition teams, and/or other key organizational change initiatives.

Complexity of Work: Must have: demonstrated knowledge of adult learning styles, participative training design, group dynamics, interactive learning methods, systems theory and quality improvement processes; proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite; critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work in a fast-paced stressful environment.

Required Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of internal consultation and corporate training experience working with leadership at various levels.
