Your contribution in this role……

The Strategic Account Manager drives growth within the strategic account. Additionally, building, maintaining and expanding relationships with chosen global strategic accounts. Assigned to typically two to three named accounts, the Strategic Account Manager is responsible for achieving top line revenue growth either directly or within the customer’s supply chain in collaboration with regional business units.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the effort to drive growth at chosen global strategic accounts,effectively and efficiently building customer relationships to achieve desired budget requirements (Orders, Sales, New Program capture targets, Pricing) expectations.
  • Connect opportunities to revenue that will be realized at the business unit level; Identify new opportunities to build profitable market share and sustainable competitive advantage; creating value for new and existing customers
  • Map the organization charts of our strategic accounts to understand the decision makers and demonstrate to them how to leverage Dymax’ portfolio
  • Build relationships across multiple business units at Strategic Account, as the relationship lead, to identify growth opportunities and translate these into collaborative projects between Dymax’ business units and the Strategic Account and/or supply chain
  • Demonstrate, on a routine basis, the value Dymax’ business units have delivered to the Strategic Accounts to maintain a long-term competitive advantage
  • Capture voice of customer from Strategic Accounts and communicate strategic needs to each business unit team, ultimately for consideration for development in R&D.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to demonstrate year over year sales growth
  • Must have a strategic customer portfolio in the Aerospace and Defense markets
  • Minimum of 10 years strategic sales experience in business-to-business environment - Aerospace and Defense industry sales experience preferred
  • Experience executing at each stage of the sales process
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration preferred but not required
  • Demonstrate large account wins captured using innovative approaches
  • Proven experience in business writing/communication
  • Requirement to manage time as a “remote” employee, often working independently of traditional channels
  • Must be able to travel domestically and well as internationally (75%)
