The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.
With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.

Summary:

The Hartford HealthCare (HHC) Account Manager provides an existing opportunity for highly motivated individual. The Account Manager is responsible for selling HHC health services to the medical community including physicians, nurses, hospitals, and employers. The Account Manager will also aid in the recruitment of healthcare professionals to join HHC. The Account manager will partner with the Executive Leadership Team in their region to increase regional awareness of HHC service lines, resulting in growth in volume, revenue and margin. Our goal is moderate growth and annual profitability while maintaining our ethical standards through our leadership behaviors. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and Business Development with strategic direction from Regional Leadership.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Promotion of local family health centers and services lines
  • Provide collateral information about new clinical programs
  • New physician introductions
  • Promote regional and state service Lines
  • Promote referral/re-direction opportunities
  • Develop marketing plans for approved service lines
  • Achieve Growth targets for dedicated service lines
  • Analyze physician activity reports for targeting and trends on inpatient/outpatient utilization patterns
  • Analyze physician referral patterns
  • Develop state/regional business Intelligence
  • Cross-selling – Provide information on other services on the care continuum
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years sales experience, preferably in the medical field
