K-12 Sales – Operator Specialist
This is a sales position that will require you to manage all aspects of business in a pre-determined FSE Sales Channel. Primary responsibilities include planning, implementing and executing sales activities to achieve sales objectives. You will be the point person for all manufacturers with K-12 products, in conjunction with the Market Manager. You will acquire and develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to meet or exceed assigned revenue goals. Responding to email in a timely manner is required, as is maintaining equipment (including a personal or company vehicle) in clean, working order.
This is a sales position that will require you to make calls to operators. You will be required to submit a PTC sales plan each period in accordance with the goals and objectives set by your manager. Reporting criteria includes submitting a weekly itinerary, maintaining a key account list, and reporting all qualified sales calls in CRM.
Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills are required. Must develop a strong and cordial working relationship with bid coordinator. An attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential.
The work environment is unstructured so self-motivation is key. Some overnight travel will be required. Physical Requirements may include: lifting of boxes and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs, loading/unloading equipment and samples, carrying sample bags in and out of accounts, standing / walking up to 11 hours at a food show, driving long distances between calls.
