Outside Sales Representative Job Opening

Job Location – Based from Alabaster, AL area traveling within a 100 mile radius

Basic Job and Pay Information: Starting pay based on experience plus commission plan available

Job Description : The Sales Position is responsible for marketing our Fastener and Safety products to existing and new customers.

Responsibilities

• Sell company products to existing and new customers by establishing and maintaining relationships with key purchasing agents for the organization.
• Generate new business with existing customers by inquiring about meeting needs that you may not currently be tapping into.
• Increase customer base by making cold calls on possible new accounts and following up on leads gained from vendors or other customers.
• Ability to work with mobile devices inside and outside the office.
• Ability to make product recommendations to customers and take orders.
• Prepare quotes for customers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment drug screening
• Clear MVR and background.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must maintain a clean and neat appearance.
• Normal work hours are 8:00 – 4:30 but must be willing to work flexible work hours if needed.
• High School diploma or Equivalent. A four year college degree is a plus.
• 3 – 4 years outside sales experience required.
• 3+ years Industrial Sales or Metal Fastener experience recommended.
