POSITION SUMMARY
The In-House Director of Sales (IHDOS) is responsible for managing how a property’s In-House sales center is run by keeping a constant floor presence with their management team. The IHDOS ensures, through their management of others, that their In-House sales center’s goals are achieved in an efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The IHDOS:
  • Monitors their sales staff’s efficiency through reporting and observation.
  • Runs weekly reports on their department to make sure the numbers are consistent with established goals.
  • Manages ongoing training with their staff to keep them at their peak effectiveness.
  • Monitors the tour wave times and the daily allotments so that the In-house department can run efficiently.
  • Verifies that all purchase proposals and other documents relative to upgrades are accurate and complete.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
The IHDOS may also:
  • Monitor SPI to make sure data has been entered into the system accurately.
  • Create Excel spreadsheets to enter essential numbers for the sale center’s goals.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education/Credentials
This position requires a high school diploma or GED.

Experience
This position requires at least three years of timeshare experience, preferably in a management position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The IHDOS works in an office setting that can contain many different types of personalities and can be very busy at times. This is a demanding position in a high-pressure sales environment with a lot of potential distractions.
