The Travel & Meeting Services team is a benchmark operation with a highly consultative approach to achieving the organizations travel and meeting services needs in a rapidly growing and complex environment. The team’s mission is to provide industry expertise in support of Cigna's business initiatives. Deliver innovative tools, technology and spend management controls to effectively manage programs while insuring policy compliance and due diligence, enabling our customers to focus on core responsibilities.

The Cigna Travel & Meeting Services team is comprised of several areas of knowledge expertise; Travel management US Markets, Travel Management international Markets, Travel management, Executive services, Meeting Service Management, T&E policy, Sports & Special Events, Travel Communications, Financial & Contract compliance. These areas support all of Cigna business initiative globally including product, sales and service operations. This is a high visibility team that interfaces with top level executives, customers, brokers, all levels of employees and a large number of vendors. Our Role

The Travel Oversight Lead Analyst – Executive Travel is an individual contributor role focused on supporting the demands and unique needs for our executive travelers. This key role is a leadership role, managing projects and processes. Key skills in negotiations and relationship building while managing results are essential. This position will support the Director of Global Travel & Meeting Services. A self-directed, hands on leader who is a self-starter with business acumen, able to work with all levels of employees.

A Day In T he Life Of A Travel Oversight Lead Analyst May Include:

  • Sharing critical expertise and knowledge to support goals and objectives of the Office of the Corporate Secretary.
  • Partnering closely to evaluate needs for a successful Board of Directors Meeting
  • Developing list of potential locations for future Board of Director Meetings
  • Schedule Private/Corporate Aircraft for Board Meeting attendees
  • Develop comprehensive specifications to be provided to the hotel hosting Board Meeting
  • Analyze data provided by outside vendor to strategically manage Global Hotel Program
  • Identify need when requests for additions to the Global Hotel Program are received
  • Meet with hotel National Account Managers to review program and further enhance our business relationship
  • Manage hotel program to be best in class through a comprehensive understanding of the industry and the market, synthesizing competitive intelligence
  • Differentiating CIGNA Travel & Meeting Services as a best in class program through a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
  • Drive TMC Executive services to effectively support our VIP travel program, special requests and unusual situations

Our Ideal Candidate Will Offer:

  • 7+ years global travel management experience working in a mid-large, global organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, advanced degree a plus
  • Extensive corporate travel management, procurement and operations experience
  • Project management experience
