ExamFX, a division of Ascend Learning, helps insurance and financial services companies license their employees. They are the industry leader in online training and assessment for Professional Pre-Licensing in Insurance and Securities exams.

We are searching for a National Account Manager, Securities at ExamFX (www.examfx.com). This position will report to the Sales VP and will have responsibility for selling ExamFX pre-licensing products to financial services companies. Job is based in Leawood, Kansas but we will consider remote working arrangements for the right candidate.

Priorities and Responsibilities:

The National Account Manager, Securities will manage and have responsibility for full sales development methods with new clients. This role will have responsibility for supporting the company's sales goals through development of and penetration of Financial Services as well as growth in existing vertical markets. Using competitive sales techniques, the National Account Manager, Securities will leverage his/her knowledge of ExamFX’s products and services to develop new business relationships and increase sales volumes with existing clients. Travel to client sites, meetings and other gatherings are expected to occur on a frequent cadence. Professional and productive telephone and email contact at necessary volumes will also be a requirement.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree MBA preferred, but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Existing relationships in the Financial Service industry
  • A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience with prior business development responsibilities & consultative selling experience is preferred.
  • Strong preference for candidates who have been responsible and have had experience in penetrating new markets, have a strategic view of business, have a creative mindset & approach, as well as understand how to implement tactical plans to execute on emerging strategies and penetrating new markets.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to cultivate new and existing relationships.
  • Success and a track record of forming customer relationships which have resulted in long-term productive business relationships.
  • Strong collaborative approach to business and ability to work cross functionally to accomplish organizational objectives.
  • Past success where it was consistently required to present one-on-one, to large, and small group audiences providing information/instruction but in an energizing and persuasive manner.
