Job Purpose:

The New Equipment and Warehouse Products Internal Sales Coordinator is responsible for communication with vendors and processing equipment orders. He/she will work with the department manager and sales force to ensure orders are properly generated and are followed through the process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers incoming calls for the New Equipment and Warehouse Products departments.
  • Provides customer call-in information to the sales representatives for follow up.
  • Assists sales representatives with quotes.
  • Reviews all department orders as they are imputed and creates purchase orders that are sent to vendors.
  • Reviews factory acknowledgements to ensure order is correct.
  • Follows up with vendors to track delivery times and updates the order system with information.
  • Files vendor invoices in project files.
  • Schedules freight carriers to pick up product when ready at factory.
  • Produces bill of ladings for product to be shipped.
  • Tracks all costs related to orders and projects.
  • Sends orders to invoicing when product ships or when projects are completed.
  • Develop and generate reports monthly for Warehouse Products manager.
  • Work with warehouse products department manager to develop and manage business plan with budget.
  • Attend monthly sales meetings with sales force to discover new product offerings and industry trends.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check and update schedule listing on a monthly basis.
  • Take initiative in developing new processes that will help workflow.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 2 years of college preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail, analytical and task completion skills required.
  • Must be PC literate and possess a thorough knowledge of general business procedures.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift or move up to 30 pounds.
