What you’ll be doing
The Sales Consultants primary responsibility is to generate advertising revenue by meeting sales monthly/quarterly and annual sales targets through the creation and renewal of sales contracts working alongside the Account Specialist.
This individual is the direct point of contact with their customers and in charge of ensuring a customer first mindset is upheld by meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations. The Sales consultant must know their service inside and out and guide their customers through the purchase process efficiently with industry leading customer service.
Reporting to the Sales Planning District Manager, this role will contribute to corporate goals and objectives and is relied upon for meeting and exceeding sales targets. The position also serves as a change agent who will regularly interact and influence key market decisions and direction.
Our sales consultants are responsible for driving increased revenue for To help you best establish long term growth, our sales methodology is to use consultative (needs based) selling practices, to ensure lasting relationships are built and maintained.
- Create new leads and market opportunities (prospecting/cold calling)
- Acquires new customers by reaching out to leads regularly (consistent follow up)
- Researches customer’s individual or business purchase needs to tailor solutions
- Serves existing customers by optimizing current purchase plan
- Adjusts sales tactics based on tests and new insights in the field
- Works with internal resources to resolve customer complaints and questions
- Keeps management informed of sales activities via daily, weekly, monthly updates
- Maintains weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual goals
- Completes market research and monitor competitor’s activity in market
- Makes recommendations for the customer to better enhance their use of our products
- Maintains documentation of customer contact and account updates
- Complete other duties as requested
- Provide Proof of Performance to customers via Emailed Reports
Qualifications
What you bring
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Media Sales Experience in Business to Business Setting
- Strong Negotiation, Persuasion and Closing Skills
- Excellent Verbal, Phone,Written communication skills
- Prospecting / territory management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and financial goal minimums
- Patience in working with customer issues and calls that do not end in a sale
- High School Diploma or GED
- Competition mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Aptitude for understanding Technology and Systems
- Strong organizational and Self Motivation Skills
- Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- Basic Math Required
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite - including presentations
Preference Given if you have
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Knowledge of Consultative Selling Strategies
- Additional certifications and other professional development experience
- Experience in Advertising Sales

As a One Stone Sales Consultant, your potential for earning is unlimited thanks to our competitive commission structure. Commission bonuses grow with every new deal and by establishing consultative relationships with your market you have the opportunity for recurring revenue as long as you are a part of our team.
