This position is to coordinate and provide daily support to the Retail Sales team. This position is responsible for preparing the proper sales analytics, coordinate retail sales workflow from GSM & SSM, coordinate metrics for the department and effectively communicate these efforts to retail sales management. This position is to work with the route accounting system, ROCKY, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint, ShareFile, OneNote, OneDrive and other essential software to provide proper communication of the needs to the department.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Create and maintain monthly files, e.g., pricing sheets, Independent and Chain key account sheets, promotion sell sheets, UPC listings, etc. on SharePoint and place them on ShareFile for iPad access; communicate changes to GSMs and CDA/Pricing Clerk

  • Schedule monthly sales meetings with GSM for ADCs and CDRs and attend to make sure all needed topics are discussed as well as assist SSM in setting up sales room for these meetings, i.e., build mock displays, lay out new POS materials for distribution.


  • Design displays to be built in the market using Microsoft EXCEL.

  • Work with SSM for sales support personnel to schedule vacation and PTO to ensure proper routing is posted.

  • Work with FSM to create a guide of who fills in for what job that exist for sales support employees.

  • Work with SSM for sales support personal to schedule vacation and PTO to ensure proper routing is posted.

  • Work with FSM on the total account routing process.

  • Manage retail route sequencing and any rerouting that is required.

  • Manage ordering and arrival of sales materials through ROCKY.

  • Coordinate with FSM the ordering stock of division POP materials, shirts, hats, log books, etc. and order from ROCKY as required.

  • Make sure to check daily for arrival of POP and / or new product and communicate arrivals to FSMs / ASMs.

  • Coordinate demand planning with the FSM / SSM to ensure there is enough product to fulfill sales needs.

  • Work closely with the Sales Support Manager to coordinate and provide internal data needed to improve account execution.

  • Coordinate with all management and consolidate the review and communication with HR regarding DOT violations (i.e., logs, breaks and hours of service)

  • Coordinate the review and approving Employee Time clock punches with the SSM.

  • Coordinate with sales management and monitor donation request website, submit requests to GM for approval / denial and send complete request forms to FSM for any approvals.

  • Required to complete other activities assigned by the FSM.

  • Track placement of program materials to help ensure execution.

  • Allocate and distribute coupons.

  • Coordinate with sales management and compile store ads weekly, track cases for bill back credits & submit to CDA / Pricing Clerk so they can send a credit memo request to A/R.

  • Coordinate with sales management and compile all documentation for monthly reimbursements, submit them to corporate & confirm that the division received the proper credit.

  • Assist in the creation of market presentation materials, e.g., one-pagers, CDA agreements, etc., as needed.

  • Coordinate, develop and communicate new item distribution, promotions and incentives through Margin Minder and/or I-dig to FSM's / ASM's / ADC's.

  • Notify FSM / ASM's when new items aren't moving in the warehouse and could potentially go out of date.

  • Coordinate sales goals with GSM and pull daily sales goal information and fill out quota boards for all ADC / CDR sales.

  • Communicate with Director of Field Marketing when issues / questions arise on Marketing Programs or display equipment, e.g., when POP arrives missing parts or we receive something unexpectedly, etc.

  • Schedule must be flexible in-order to fill in for SSs in SSM's absence on the weekend.

  • Maintain route file when changes are made to route alignments.

  • Calculate daily mileage using Streets & Trips when routes change.

  • Ongoing involvement with the General Route Accounting System (RAS) implementation process and ongoing support.

  • Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Company and Division provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other Company provided method. (Must successfully complete quarterly training curriculum, including but not limited to web-based and facilitated training.)
