You must have the ability and work ethic to persistently cold call prospects, negotiate competitive rates with customers and carriers, closing deals, and working with a team to manage your customer's shipments from pickup to delivery.

Responsibilities :
Actively develop new business daily (cold calling, email, social media, networking, etc.) and maintain your customer and carrier base
Negotiate customer and carrier rates and meet gross profit margin targets
Mentor and assist your teammates in reaching their monthly goals.
Proactively identify problems, quickly implement the appropriate solutions and going the extra mile to exceed your customers’ expectations.
Working with a CRM and TMS program to track and monitor your sales cycles, customers, carriers, and shipments.
Set and meet pre-assigned goals for prospecting and closing customers.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a major PLUS!
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred (but not required).
Preferred experience working with a CRM.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent Communication Skills: written, verbal, and over the phone: clear, personable, enunciation, etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint is imperative.
Extreme multitasking, time management, heavy emphasis on details and organization abilities.
Must be a problem solver and able to multi-task in high stressful situations
Ability to work in a team environment, while also being able to deliver independent results
Must live within a reasonable distance from the office location

Working Conditions:
This is an inside sales position, held at the office location posted in the job description. You will be working independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment that can get extremely busy at times. Frequent use of computer programs and telephones calls both outbound and inbound. Emphasis placed on communication, multi-tasking, and most importantly generating and closing new customers for this position.
