In this position, this candidate will be responsible for serving a multiple of Spares customers around the world. This candidate will be given the opportunity to grow while taking on the responsible for a variety of tasks to support the aftermarket group. This candidate will have strong customer focus that will serve both internal and external customers, along with the analytical skills that will be used in many facets of their daily tasks.

Job Summary

  • Work with Aftermarket Service Team to support the sale of Spare Parts
  • Conduct large Spare Parts bid/proposal preparation and pricing
  • Conduct invoice reconciliations
  • Conduct root cause/corrective action on group performance metrics
  • Data Entry: SAP quotes and orders
  • Update quote databases
  • File customer purchase orders
  • Support Spare Parts Sales forecasting
  • Manage Spare Parts backlog database
  • Provide backup and support for SAP part repair orders
  • Support Logistics and Warehouse with manual invoices and picklists and expedited shipments
  • Maintain and update customer information databases
  • Maintain and update Spare Parts operational procedures
  • Support or lead IT and/or Major Process Initiatives related to Spare Parts Department or broader Aftermarket Team, as appropriate
  • Mine, distill, and present data-based findings
  • Execute ad hoc projects, as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong Analytical Skills Required
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal, relationship building, and problem solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills and experience with SAP
  • Team Player, Customer Focused
  • Strong presentation skills

Education /Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Finance / Engineering field or Information Technology field a Plus

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs
  • Customer service experience
  • Support customers after normal business hours on emergency basis
  • Up to 10% domestic travel may be required
