The Divisional Sales Executive will be an individual contributor whose primary responsibility is managing all client relationships activities related to assigned accounts, prospecting efforts for new and existing business, ensuring appropriate account qualification and saturation for maximum revenue capture, forecasting and goal management strategies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large National accounts.
  • In partnership with VP of Sales, assists in the pursuit of identified new business prospects, participating actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for direct sales activities to drive new account acquisition and share growth in new and existing accounts for all hotels.
  • Responsible for generating leads and drawing out opportunities within existing accounts to drive incremental revenue.
  • Ensure that revenue growth and objectives are achieved.
  • Collaboration with existing General Managers to enhance individual selling skills to drive revenue from key accounts, existing and new, in local markets.
  • In partnership with VP of Sales, develop new opening hotel plan, sales activities and participate in sales blitz for new opening hotels.
  • Ensure high level of customer quarterly account review; high levels of communication with the customer. Take ownership and resolve all customer complaints or open issues raised by the customer.
  • Creates accurate, timely and detailed reporting of all sales results on a preset schedule to ensure sales results are tracked and recognized.
  • Utilizes CRM to manage client relations
  • Review of documented sales activities in CRM to ensure high quality, proactive sales effort on behalf of Nationwide Hotel Management Company, LLC.
  • Develop knowledge of customer buying strategies, structure, businesses, to maximize growth in all hotels managed by the company.
  • Reviews industry trends to pinpoint new business opportunities related to extended stay customers.
  • Assists with the planning of and delivery of sales exhibits and presentations. Attends industry trade shows as needed.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, communicates effectively, promotes collaboration, nurtures a positive, professional work environment.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 7 years of experience in hotel national, global sales, preferably in an extended stay brand.
  • Able to travel 75% of the time.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organization and written/oral communication skills.
  • Team oriented attitude with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Proactive and aggressive in solving problems as well as recognizing and acting on opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, communication or marketing is preferred with an advanced proficiency in general computer use, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, applications.
