GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary responsibility of an Account Rep at SWPlus is to generate revenue by managing, developing and growing existing and new clients. The Account Rep needs to uphold our mission statement in all he/she does and fulfill sales and profit goals for the company.

  • Develop strong working relationships with existing clients to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement plans to help satisfy client needs.
  • Work closely with other team members to build new client business.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

The account representative will use a combination of telephone and Internet communications vehicles to sell to an existing client base, as well as cold calling new prospects. They will be assigned a particular strategic region/market and will be responsible for selling, up selling, and cross selling Company products. Functions of the position include identification and winning of new opportunities, interacting as the primary interface to customers; coordination of Company resources; providing customers with accurate product information and ensuring customer needs are met.

  • Initiate sales process by calling on existing clients, produce and distribute marketing material and understanding account requirements and sales history
  • Close sales by building rapport with potential/existing clients and providing solutions to challenges they have.
  • Expanding sales by introducing new services and products to existing and potential clients.
  • Identifying customer needs and meeting them with our products and services.
  • Desire to continually increase industry and job knowledge (training/resources provided)
  • Responsible for meeting established sales quota.
  • Assist in maintaining and growing SWPlus’ CRM database
  • Help develop marketing and training materials/strategies

Requirements

  • Strong phone presence
  • Ability to generate leads through planning and persistence
  • Successful in solution selling and selling on value
  • Experience with Account Management
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients over the phone
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be a team player.
  • Previous paper, packaging, Jan/San sales experience preferred but not necessary
  • Experience working with a CRM software to maximize the product support process
