Oversees the management and/or direction of regional commercial lending activities and staff and extends commercial and/or agricultural credit to Lincoln Savings Bank (LSB) customers. Develops a loan portfolio focusing on full-service, quality relationships.

Guides and assists in the development of the regional commercial lending departmental staff and holds them accountable to meeting sales and retention goals.

Originates and processes commercial loans in accordance with LSB’s internal policy and complies with applicable lending laws and regulations.

Analyzes the credit history of applicants and determines their loan repayment capabilities.

Negotiates credit terms, such as costs, loan repayment methods, and collateral specifications.

Approves or rejects loan applications within individual lending authority.

Develops a pipeline of quality commercial loans through professional interaction, consultation, and joint review of selected credits.

Completes business development and retention calls on potential new clients and on existing clients.

Maintains a loan portfolio of $50,000,000 or greater.

Documents calls and sends weekly call reports to supervisor.

Utilizes the customer relationship management system to document and report on prospecting and retention activities.

Upholds a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all LSB’s commercial loan products and services.

Uses the LSB+ program to refer clients to departments outside of lending to fully utilize all LSB products and services.

Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Participates in civic, community, and networking events for the purpose of cultivating productive relationships for Lincoln Savings Bank.


Necessary Skills and Attributes
7 - 10 years of experience incommercial lending/credit
Bachelors degree in a business discipline required, Masters degree preferred.
Demonstrates strong sales/businessdevelopment skills
