At HBP, Inside Sales Reps provide world-class service to our counter customer business by generating quotes, orders, and handling additional requests. They identify sales growth opportunities and work with branch management and account executives to foster growth. Phone interactions are expected to be conducted as assigned including, but not limited to, Customer Care support and outgoing calls.

Responsibilities:

Aggressively respond and react to customers at counter
Strive to build customer relationships that will ultimately drive continued sales growth
Handle continuous inflow of customer requests
Manage order entry and quoting accurately and efficiently.
Maintain productivity in a dynamic sales environment
Apply lean and continuous improvement principles to management of daily workload
Follow SOPs and seek out improvement opportunities for daily management of responsibilities
Follow-up on quotes, closing and aged orders.
Seek out and capitalize on sales growth opportunities. •
Identify and analyze customer profiles to promote relevant suggestive sales
Identify up-sell opportunities to grow sales
Pursue and develop ongoing, increasing product knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2 years of customer service experience
SAP or related ERP system experience strongly preferred
Industry experience a plus
