Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to)
- Communicate with customers, technicians, coworkers and suppliers to develop appropriate customer solutions
- Review blueprints, plans, and other customer documents to estimate and present price quotes for the repairs and/or replacement of customer equipment including material and labor cost
- Prepare sales or service proposal or contract for products or services
- Review and facilitate implementation of approved projects with facility crew members and manager
- Ensures proposed work complies w/ state and local building codes, is in adherence to Lee Company job & safety standards and is ethical
- Develop and propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operations
- Provide technical services and training to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment
- Receive and follow-up on leads with customers
- Helps manage costs, invoicing and collections to/from the client
- Keep manager informed of sales progress, account status and changes in the marketplace through regularly scheduled meetings, sales tracking reports and call for assistance from manager to keep the sales process moving
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts and a full pipeline of opportunities that assures sales goal attainment. Understands and leverages the sales process
- Build partnering relationships with the facility owners or management representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Lee Company service offerings
- Utilize current and create new, innovative sales tools to effectively plan and increase business opportunity in accounts
- Act as the customer’s advocate in interactions with Lee Company to ensure the customer obtains the best value from the Lee Company offerings and set appropriate customer expectations on product and service offerings
- Pursue training and development opportunities whenever needed to improve capabilities and strive to continuously build knowledge and skills and shares expertise with others
Education and Required Experience:
- A minimum of three years of field experience is required.
- At least one year of sales experience in same or similar field is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have in-depth knowledge in the industrial/commercial trade being applied for as well as client relations
- A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and ability to be trained in use of company-specific software & technology

The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and performing strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Individuals may occasionally be exposed to hazardous conditions, high places and /or hazardous equipment. May work with or around chemicals that require knowledge of a safety data sheet.
Individuals in an office-based position will encounter ambient room temperatures, fluorescent lighting, and will be expected to operate traditional office equipment as found in any typical office environment. Individuals may need to sit at a desk or table for long periods of time. An office worker may also be expected to spend long hours in front of a computer screen. A person in this position can be expected to reach over shoulder heights; crouch or stoop below the waist; experience repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds depending on the position.
