OBJECTIVE / PURPOSE
The ISAM is accountable for all sales activities and results within an assigned geographical territory. This includes but is not limited to prospecting, lead generation, quality call requirements, promoting CBS products, meeting and exceeding sales quotas, maintaining pipelines utilizing the CBS customer relationship management (CRM) software (Salesforce), and revenue generation against monthly targets.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS
  • Meets a minimum of 50 - 60 outbound calls per day to provide leads and meet monthly sales quotas as set by management.
  • Satisfies customer needs through the use of clear, complete, and accurate explanations of features and benefits to prospects while resolving concerns in non-technical terms.
  • Maintains accurate notes in the Salesforce (CRM) system. Updates records as required and instructed to ensure quality conversations, proper follow up, and account knowledge management.
  • Develops long-term, strategic value-added customer relationships to develop a strong base to enhance cross and up-sell revenue generating opportunities while maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  • Completes initial training program and attends weekly sales meetings for recurring training.
  • Learns the core features and benefits for all products and services offered by CBS.
  • Maintains a professional attitude in dealing with customers, prospects, and staff members.
  • Complies with company policy for safeguarding customer and corporate proprietary information.
  • Attends industry events on a voluntary basis to cultivate prospects (expenses paid).

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: B.A. or B.S. from a four-year college or university preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years prior outbound inside sales experience in an outbound call environment preferred. Professional Selling Skills (PSS) training preferred but not required.
