JOB SUMMARY
This full-time person will be working 5 days a week onsite at Volvo in Summerville SC. Candidate will drive a company van from our Storage Facility daily to replenish multiple location onsite at Volvo. Each location has storage cabinets and each item has a beginning max quality that the Orr employee will replenish and bill for used product. They will check in weekly replenishment shipment to the storage facility and keep in a orderly manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
  • Resolves customer questions related to orders, takes orders as needed from Walk In’s, Call In’s, and/or Orders provided by Sales Group.
  • Maintains communications with other Departments for order completion.
  • Key in orders, mail catalog, samples, price quotations, and similar data to customer.
  • Responds to customer requests via telephone as needed.
  • At all times has knowledge of product line, product identification number, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, various marketing promotional services, and similar data, as required.
  • Contacts customers to ascertain data omitted on orders.
  • Creates new product identification numbers as needed for new business.
  • Works in conjunction with fellow Safety Store Specialist in sustaining inventory accuracy, product grouped by single location, stocking inventory, moving inventory to new locations, performing weekly cycle counts and creating SKU Labels.
  • Maintains a clean store on a daily basis inclusive of sweeping floors, dusting, cleaning bathroom, trash disposal, display maintenance and dusting.
  • Works in conjunction with fellow Safety Store Specialist in sustaining 5S discipline in warehouse.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent education, required.
  • Customer service experience, preferred.
  • Experience in managing an industrial store room very helpful, preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to provide excellent counter service in an industrial environment.
  • Must have good Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel) skills.
  • Knowledge of types and usage of industrial safety equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This role operates within a customer’s factory, plant, or distribution center.
  • Job duties require the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • All associates are required to pass a drug screen, background check and motor vehicle report.
