Otis Elevator Company, the world’s largest company in the manufacture, maintenance and service of elevators, escalators, moving walkways, and other horizontal transportation systems, has an opportunity in Customer Service, available at their Otis Service Center in Bloomfield, CT. We are looking for organized self-starters with technical backgrounds or aptitude who are interested in careers in the elevator industry.

Responsibilities include: fielding phone calls, identifying part numbers, placing parts orders, tracking shipments and obtaining part prices and lead times. This position provides an opportunity to develop communication, business and technical skills.

Education

Candidate should be possess an Associates degree. Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience / Qualifications

Basic skills required include proficiency in MS Office. Communication skills, problem solving skills and technical aptitude are also key competencies to this position. Must be able to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks and be willing to work in a fast paced environment, and work in a team environment. Job specific training will be provided.
