SUPERVISOR, CENTRAL SUPPLY Job Opening

Comprised of Kent General and Milford Memorial Hospitals, numerous satellite facilities and many employed physician practices encompassing a variety of specialties, Bayhealth has more than 3,100 employees and a medical staff of 425 physicians.
Bayhealth Central Services is comprised of operations at both Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial Hospital. Both sites provide service to the organization 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The Supervisor, Central Supply supervises activities involved in sterilization, decontamination, supplies and case carts system, ensuring adequate instrument and supplies throughout Bayhealth.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. Associates degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Central Supply required. Three years supervisory/lead experience in Central Supply preferred.
Computer/Software Knowledge: Basic computer literacy required.
Licensure/Certification: Certification through the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materials Management (IACHSMM) or Certification for Central Sterile Processing Department Technician (CSPDT) required.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: Working knowledge of medical terminology required. Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
