Internal Sales Representative - WI Job Opening

Position: Internal Sales Representative - $1000 Sign On Bonus

Location: Waunakee, WI

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Reports to: Internal Sales Supervisor

Summary: This position will be responsible for receiving, processing, and confirming customer orders and supporting the customer related sales activity. It will also be responsible for expediting, quoting, order taking, and trouble shooting.

Description:

• Enter orders into manufacturing system
• Contact customers for information about purchase orders
• Work with drafting team on order information
• File and maintain paperwork with each order
• Assist a variety of customers and District Sales Managers in selection of NORD products
• Provide customers and sales force information regarding delivery, availability, and cost of product.
• Assist the internal sales team by working on orders from the order queue.
• May be primary contact for designated low-level key and target customers.
• May be a backup for high level key and target customers.

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor Degree Preferred.

• 1-3 years of order entry, customer service, inside sales, or power transmission industry knowledge preferred.Experience in a technical industry preferred.

• Excellent phone skills and people skills.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn a complex product.

• Self-motivated and detail oriented; Strong comprehension and memory skills.

• Ability to work at a desk for 8 hours/day
