Women-owned company is looking to expand our sales and marketing department. You will play a key role in our company by being an upbeat and positive customer service representative. We are looking for well-qualified candidates to help spearhead our E-Commerce Department. You’ll have the opportunity to see that your work can have remarkable impacts.

The E-Commerce Sales & Marketing Specialist will have three primary duties in this priority:

  • Respond to customer questions and sales requests as well as fulfillment of orders.
  • Work with the sales team to identify the right products to sell online, help to organize a central product information source, upload and maintain this information on our E-Commerce site.
  • Manage other related online content with the help and direction of others in the organization, including product reviews, product accuracy of pricing, and select images and videos available on our E-Commerce, social media, and websites.

We provide superior service, custom manufacturing, and quality parts to our customers in the cooling tower industry. With so much online competition, we differentiate ourselves by providing consistent, effective, and helpful solutions. Our goal is to build trusting long-term relationships with our customers by being the industry leader for all their cooling tower needs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with ability to be a good listener and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside of the organization.

  • Self-confident with ability to assess situations, make sound decisions, and resolve problems or issues for the customer autonomously.
  • Strong customer service skills, able to manage customer inquiries and complaints swiftly and maintain a positive customer experience
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to see the big picture and strike a balance between written processes and common-sense practices as situations arise.
  • Ability to identify, monitor and analyze critical metrics and make recommendations for process or other changes required to provide best-in-class customer service.

  • Answer calls and website inquiries from our customers.
  • Process customers’ orders and communicate issues or needs with the sales representatives.
  • Keep our customer databases current for marketing; digital and mailers.
  • Work on our website to keep it fresh and relevant with the most current marketing promotions and prices.
  • Updating the website in Woo Commerce or Wordpress consists of: creating banners, adding products, and potentially writing blogs with the help of others in the organization.
  • Creating specialized landing pages and leveraging other digital tools, such as Mailchimp, Linked In, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for account-based marketing.

Education and /or Experience

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Digital marketing experience and/or classwork a plus
  • General knowledge of business operating procedures
  • Strong computer and internet navigational skills
  • Ability to listen, problem-solve and communicate effectively with co-workers and customers
  • Excellent writing skills required for website content development
  • Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
  • Able to interact with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds
  • Experience or interest in learning to create video content

Computer Skills

  • Must have above average skills of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Word, and Microsoft Office Power Point.
  • Experience with Woo Commerce or Wordpress a plus.
  • Experience using ERP business systems such as SAP, Epicor, etc. a plus.
  • Experience or interest in learning to market via social medial and content management tools a plus.
  • Experience or interest in learning email marketing a plus.
